This has been a labor of love for me for the past five years, as I am passionate about helping people understand mental illness and its treatment. Those of you who have followed me here from my three years as a weekly host on AOL's Depression Information Forum know of my personal investment in sharing this knowledge.
So here's the problem I'm now facing. To continue to do this -- and do it well -- I need to generate some income to at least cover my production costs and my time. While I'm at it, I'd like to help NAMI.
I've thought about selling ads to the pharmaceutical companies (they'd love that), but I don't like the perception that they could taint our otherwise unbiased information.

Steven R. Daviss, M.D.
P.S.: Oh, and one more thing. 10% of all gross proceeds goes to NAMI, the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
